Senior Solutions Engineer – Platform & Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to comprehend customer needs and design customized satellite communication solutions.

• Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for new clients.

• Supervise the installation, configuration, and testing of Quvia systems across various business sectors.

• Resolve complex issues during the proof of concept (POC) phase and collaborate with customers, QA, and Engineering teams to implement solutions.

• Create and maintain thorough documentation for solutions and services.

• Serve as a technical consultant to clients on best practices and optimal usage of terrestrial and satellite communication systems.

• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams.

• Stay informed about advancements in Quvia systems.

• Coordinate with sales, product management, systems, engineering, QA, and service delivery teams.

• Oversee the transition from POC to service delivery and support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in customer-facing solutions engineering.

• Proficient in conducting technical discovery and scoping, with a prototyping approach to support demonstrations and the entire POC lifecycle.

• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in implementing networking concepts.

• Strong command of the Linux command line.

• Proficient in scripting with Python or Bash.

• Comfortable utilizing REST APIs and JSON for integration tasks.

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in sizing, testing, and validating server hardware.

• Familiarity with hypervisors such as VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.

• At least 5 to 7 years of front-end development experience for creating quick dashboards using a JS framework or tools like Grafana.

• Working knowledge of data engineering and analytics, including building data pipelines, SQL proficiency, and transforming network telemetry into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Capability to manage competing priorities concurrently.

• Preferred: Expertise in network telemetry and observability across SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, syslog, SQL, and dashboarding tools like Grafana.

• Preferred: Experience in vertical domains such as aviation, maritime, cruise, hospitality, or offshore energy.
