Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee various essential enterprise applications, such as Netcracker, Alepo, and Axiros, utilizing GCP.

• Assist cross-functional engineering teams by optimizing deployment processes and delivering a cohesive, dependable platform.

• Create automated deployment pipelines.

• Develop upgrade scripts.

• Improve GCP cloud infrastructure for enhanced scalability.

• Design and sustain scalable, reliable systems and applications on Google Cloud Platform.

• Create and manage Terraform configurations while promoting Infrastructure-as-Code standards.

• Design and execute comprehensive CI/CD pipelines.

• Lead incident management efforts, perform Root Cause Analysis, and engage in on-call rotations.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to enhance system performance and prioritize resource optimization.

• Develop and sustain internal developer platforms and tools to boost engineering productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• 5 years of relevant experience in public cloud settings, including Kubernetes, VPC, and Cloud Run.

• Proficiency in infrastructure management and automation using Terraform, Ansible, and SaltStack.

• 5 years of experience leading software development life cycle (SDLC), CI/CD pipeline implementation, and supporting enterprise applications.

• 5 years of experience with Linux system internals, containerization, creating autonomous task workflows, and instituting security measures.

• 2 years of coding experience in programming languages such as Python or Java.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging ecosystems such as GCP Monitoring, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, and ELK.

• Experience in diagnosing intricate system-level issues.

• Preferred: Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying solutions utilizing AI/LLM stacks (Gemini, Vertex AI, ADK).

• Preferred: 5 years of direct experience in GCP and managing multi-cloud environments.

• Preferred: Experience in optimizing application performance for both standalone and distributed systems.

• Preferred: Strong analytical, communication, and cross-team collaboration abilities.
