This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Promote the adoption of the Power Platform in alignment with Microsoft best practices and security protocols.
• Collaborate with business units to define and create AI agents utilizing Copilot Studio.
• Provide training and guidance to global teams on Power Platform development and security best practices through workshops.
• Advise architects and developers on the principles of Power Platform architecture design during business initiatives.
• Assess existing designs, objectives, and technologies, suggesting modifications that adhere to Power Platform principles.
• Partner with Segment and Enterprise architects to develop repeatable patterns for standard integrations and configurations.
• Work in conjunction with the Enterprise Technology Services Power Platform team on various projects.
• Assist in delivering a robust, well-governed, and compliant Power Platform service at Manulife.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Cloud developer.
• 5 years’ experience as a pro-code developer in Power Platform / Dynamics 365.
• 5 years' experience in Power Platform / Dynamics as a solutions architect or lead engineer.
• 2 years' experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power Platform CLI.
• Extensive experience in analyzing solutions for business and security requirements across various Power Platform projects.
• Expert-level understanding of Dataverse and its security features.
• In-depth knowledge of Power Apps, including both Canvas and Model-Driven apps.
• Advanced knowledge of Power Automate, covering cloud and desktop flows.
• Familiarity with Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Akamai, and Power BI (Fabric).
• Significant experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, SQL, Data Lake, Service Bus, and Application Insights.
• Experience in designing and developing multiple Dynamics Apps within the same Dynamics environment, utilizing shared core entities and data.
• Competence in Power Platform administration, including environments, capacity management, licensing, and custom tooling.
• Power Platform developer and architect certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in large, complex environments is preferred but not mandatory.
