Senior Solutions Engineer – Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with account teams to spearhead technical discovery and evaluate customer environments, pinpointing infrastructure requirements and transformation prospects.

• Create, present, and enhance customized infrastructure solutions that align with customer business objectives, technical specifications, and financial factors.

• Manage the technical pre-sales process for designated opportunities, encompassing solution design, validation, and presentations to customers.

• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with OEMs and technology collaborators.

• Provide guidance to customers and IT leadership on technology initiatives and modernization strategies.

• Lead technical training and enablement programs for sales teams.

• Promote pipeline expansion by identifying, assessing, and progressing solution opportunities.

• Create and deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops.

• Mentor junior Solutions Engineers.

• Work closely with services, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solution viability and successful transition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with data center infrastructure, including hybrid cloud, virtualization, and contemporary compute/storage platforms.

• In-depth knowledge of hypervisors, Docker, Kubernetes, and software-defined data centers.

• Capability to design and position solutions within Data Center, AWS/Azure Cloud, Networking, and Security sectors.

• Familiarity with Dell, HPE, Cisco, NetApp, Pure Storage, VMware, Nutanix, Veeam, and public cloud services.

• Comprehension of disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability architectures.

• Proficiency in translating complex technical ideas into business value propositions.

• Experience in supporting pre-sales environments, solution demonstrations, POCs, and technical validations.

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.

• Over 5 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Willingness to travel to SHI, partner, and customer events.

• Advanced certification in mainstream technologies is advantageous.
