Senior Solutions Engineer – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives to identify, advance, and finalize revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 clients.

• Manage the technical relationship with prospects throughout the pre-sales process, aiming for a technical victory.

• Showcase the Coder platform from the perspectives of developers, administrators, and AI-agent workflows.

• Deploy Coder on both cloud and on-premises Kubernetes or VM infrastructures.

• Conduct proofs-of-concept that highlight Coder’s value for agentic and LLM-powered development workflows.

• Cultivate expertise in Cloud Development Environments, agentic AI development, and their impact on business.

• Convey feedback from prospects and customers to the Engineering and Product teams.

• Monitor and document product issues and feature requests using Linear.

• Resolve challenges related to Coder deployments, networking, and Kubernetes components during evaluations.

• Contribute to Coder documentation through pull requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer in selling infrastructure or developer tools.

• Excellent customer-facing abilities that build trust with technical stakeholders.

• Capability to convert technical challenges into business value on-the-fly.

• Familiarity with agentic AI software development use cases and a strong advocacy where relevant.

• Proficient in leading architecture demonstrations and conducting in-depth troubleshooting sessions.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux and comfort with the command line interface.

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts including ingress controllers, proxies, and load balancers.

• Familiarity with AI tools at both the user and infrastructure levels, such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, model proxies, and LLM routing layers like LiteLLM.

• Ability to speak knowledgeably about how enterprises assess and implement AI tools.

• Quick execution in a startup environment, ownership mentality, and a player-coach approach.
