This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with the sales team to effectively communicate the benefits of the Flare platform to potential customers.
• Grasp customer needs, respond to technical inquiries, and showcase platform functionalities by identifying prospect vulnerabilities.
• Create use cases and technical demonstrations while managing the entire Proof of Concept (POC) process.
• Establish and nurture relationships with technical stakeholders within customer organizations.
• Present threat briefings to sector ISACs, linking ongoing cybercrime activities to the exposure of member organizations.
• Analyze Flare findings for enterprise customers and prospects, including compromised credentials, vulnerable infrastructure, mentions of threat actors, and infostealer infections.
• Educate sales team members on the technical features of Flare’s platform.
• Offer technical consulting services across Flare, aiding product, marketing, and various initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Threat Intelligence Research team and incorporate field observations into research and product development.
• Share insights in external content when appropriate.
• Stay informed about the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) and cybercrime landscape and relate knowledge to customer risk.
• Represent Flare at events, speaking engagements, and webinars.
• Assist in creating tutorials, videos, and other content.
• Travel as necessary.
• Operate in the DACH region using both English and German.
• Relevant pre- and/or post-sales experience with a cybersecurity vendor in threat intelligence, or pertinent client support experience in cybersecurity services.
• Practical knowledge of stealer logs, phishing kits, underground forums and markets, Telegram, and associated actors and infrastructure.
• Ability to write basic automations in Python or Go.
• Comfortable acting as the primary technical contact throughout the sales process, leading demonstrations, managing POCs, and addressing challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and the capability for thorough, accurate documentation.
• Consistent communication with stakeholders to keep them informed.
• Expertise in cybersecurity, OSINT, or threat intelligence concerning cybercrime, e-crime, or dark web investigations; incident response; penetration testing or red teaming; or threat hunting and research.
• Proficient in delivering threat briefings to community or ISAC audiences.
• Ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, ranging from analysts to executives.
• Comfortable navigating structured processes as well as startup uncertainty.
• Curiosity, empathy, and a genuine concern for clients and colleagues.
• Values feedback, radical candor, and continuous improvement.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and German for work within the DACH region.
• Flexibility to travel as required.
• Experience in developing or enhancing pre-sales and technical sales processes is a plus.
• Ability to create technical enablement content is advantageous.
• Existing connections within sector ISACs or security working groups are beneficial.
• A public research footprint is an asset.
• Experience collaborating closely with product, marketing, or customer success teams is favorable.
• Background in early-stage startups is a plus.
