Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Act as a client-facing technical authority and reliable consultant

• Lead the efforts for requirements gathering and business analysis

• Create and implement tailored software solutions

• Assist in sales initiatives, technical explorations, solution presentations, and proposal creation

• Collaborate with executive leadership and the CEO on strategic initiatives

• Work independently, often managing projects from initial discovery to final delivery

• May also serve as a forward-deployed engineer closely integrated with client teams

⛳️ Requirements

• A decade of experience in web development

• Expertise in senior-level software engineering

• Strong capabilities in solution architecture and systems design

• Ability to work independently on intricate client projects

• Proven experience in converting business requirements into technical solutions

• Highly skilled in database schema design and analysis

• Extensive proficiency in complex SQL queries and operations

• Strong command of a server-side programming language such as C#, Java, Ruby, Python, or PHP

• Highly proficient in JavaScript

• Excellent at managing team Git branches

• At least five years of experience leading a team of five or more software developers

• Familiarity with common integration protocols including but not limited to SOAP, REST, SFTP, ODBC, TCP/IP, and IMAP

• Experience with legacy system migrations

• Basic understanding of networking and operating systems administration (including connectivity troubleshooting, DNS/SSL certificates, and Active Directory)

• Skilled in eliciting requirements from non-technical business users

• Capable of conceptually designing systems based on business needs

• Able to take on a technical lead role throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Adaptable to rapidly evolving environments

• Self-driven with a positive demeanor

• Committed to driving large projects to successful completion in a fast-paced setting
