Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead post-sales integration projects for new Payabli vertical software partners and improve integration processes for current partners.

• Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers on project solutions and ensure a high-quality workflow.

• Serve as Project Manager for the onboarding of new partners, coordinating efforts with Account Management, Operations, and other departments.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of Payabli products, APIs, and interfaces to effectively assist both technical and non-technical clients.

• Convert business requirements into distinctive technical solutions.

• Conduct calls to develop and manage integration plans for software partners.

• Create and present customized integration project plans that meet partner expectations and drive execution.

• Maintain an AI-first perspective to innovate and enhance integration processes.

• Monitor and report on project logs, key performance indicators, and promote continuous improvement.

• Work alongside Account Managers to ensure successful partner launches and go-to-market strategies.

• Convert integration plans into production reference documentation for partners and internal support teams.

• Connect Operations, Success, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to guarantee optimal implementation strategies and technical solutions.

• Provide ongoing integration support in partnership with Customer Success.

• Lead the piloting and implementation of innovative fintech products with the Product team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Product Management, Technical Support, or a similar role within the Payments or Fintech sectors.

• Demonstrated success in creating and executing complex technical solutions for software partners.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and contemporary integration patterns.

• Familiarity with payment processing concepts such as tokenization, PCI compliance, and transaction flows.

• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or similar).

• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, curl) and debugging methods.

• Understanding of payment industry essentials (acquiring, issuing, card networks, ACH).

• Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements and security best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of conveying complex ideas to C-Suite enterprise clients and engineers at early-stage startups.

• Ability to independently manage work streams and devise innovative solutions.

• Experience with embedded payments platforms is preferred.

• Previous experience with a rapidly growing and successful technology company is preferred.

• Good understanding of business operations or support processes, as well as Risk and Underwriting processes, is preferred.
