Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales executives to highlight the advantages of Neo4j’s graph data platform and oversee the technical elements of the sales process.

• Assist organizations in recognizing the business and technical benefits of the Neo4j graph database and its analytics technology.

• Exhibit thought leadership through platform demonstrations, use case presentations, solution architecture, workshops, and industry conferences.

• Aid the Sales team in qualifying and validating technical opportunities, expediting sales cycles, and promoting Neo4j adoption.

• Work alongside Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, and other teams to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

• Represent Neo4j’s business and technical value as a technical consultant and product advocate.

• Lead the technology evaluation phase of sales cycles.

• Manage multiple opportunities, including qualification, technical discovery, presentations, demonstrations, proof of value, sizing, and technical decision documentation.

• Establish rapport with customer stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor.

• Co-develop reference and solution architectures, integrating Neo4j with existing systems and applications in AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premises environments.

• Keep up to date with Neo4j features and third-party integrations.

• Relay customer requirements and product insights to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams.

• Engage in account-based marketing events, conferences, and trade exhibitions.

• Travel as necessary to facilitate deal creation, closure, and team support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Sales, Presales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.

• Background in enterprise data architecture, data analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.

• Practical knowledge of graph databases like Neo4j, TigerGraph, OrientDB, or JanusGraph is highly beneficial.

• Proficient in relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

• Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or C#.

• Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, and Agentic AI is a plus.

• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions in AWS, Azure, GCP, or on-premises environments.

• Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, whiteboarding, and platform demonstrations.

• Technical proficiency and business insight to convert technical ideas into business results.

• Enthusiasm for acquiring new technologies, data modeling, and managing change.
