Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Define the strategy, messaging, positioning, value proposition, and solutions for F5 products aligned with customer business goals.

• Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and proofs of concept using both in-person and virtual formats, including whiteboards.

• Guide and educate sales teams on the advantages of F5 solutions and the drivers of business success.

• Assess opportunity viability and analyze organizational structures.

• Collaborate with Account Managers to steer the sales process by identifying the Technical Decision Maker and securing technical validation, support, and endorsement.

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

• Work in conjunction with internal technical and sales teams, sharing best practices, updates, and insights.

• Assist sales teams and clients with technical knowledge regarding F5 solutions.

• Meet assigned sales targets by promoting relevant F5 solutions and products across North America.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems) or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer.

• Familiarity with traffic management and load-balancing technologies, such as F5, Citrix, Riverbed, Kemp, or similar.

• Understanding of HTTP, web servers, and web applications.

• Knowledge of related protocols, including TCP/IP, WebSocket, SPDY/HTTP2, SSL, SMTP, POP, DNS, etc.

• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX-based systems.

• Competence in networking technologies and Internet security products and services.

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, systems, and tools (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).

• Experience in API development and/or management.

• Background in a DevOps environment, understanding tools, processes, and culture.

• Experience working with enterprise clients in the financial services sector.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
