Senior Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main technical resource for the sales team during the pre-sales process

• Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution walkthroughs to both prospective and current customers

• Assess customer needs and determine how products and solutions can be tailored or enhanced to fulfill those requirements

• Recognize opportunities for expansion or upselling within the current customer base

• Create comprehensive product, design, and implementation specifications for intricate customer solutions

• Develop proof-of-concept applications or quick prototypes to showcase technical viability and product functionality

• Offer technical consultation, capability evaluations, and solution validation

• Resolve complex technical inquiries and objections throughout the sales process

• Work in collaboration with product, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure that proposed solutions are technically viable and achievable

• Keep updated on the product roadmap, capabilities, and competitive environment

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

• Over 5 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical pre-sales, or a similar customer-facing technical position

• Capability to convert customer business needs into technical solutions and specifications

• Excellent presentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience in developing prototypes, proofs of concept, or technical demonstrations in a dynamic, customer-focused setting

• Familiarity with the company's relevant product suite and underlying technologies, or comparable industry experience

• Ability to handle multiple simultaneous opportunities and prioritize tasks under deadline pressure

• Experience collaborating with sales teams in a consultative, quota-influencing role

• Willingness to travel to customer sites as necessary
