This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Manage the technical relationship between Cisco and its customers and partners.
• Deliver technical solutions that meet the business needs of customers and partners.
• Work in conjunction with account and connected sales teams to develop customer plans and ensure customer success.
• Lead discussions with IT, key decision-makers, and business units.
• Enhance market penetration through cross-selling and upselling efforts while displacing competitors.
• Influence technical sales decisions and convert business needs into technical specifications.
• Navigate deals through the technical sales pipeline.
• Design and deliver relevant solutions to customers.
• Oversee virtual support teams comprising sales resources.
• Contribute to account planning and identify opportunities for upselling.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Cisco’s product offerings.
• Cultivate relationships with both technical and business decision-makers.
• Recognize customer pain points and customize solutions accordingly.
• Engage in demand generation and enablement initiatives.
• Analyze data, create content, and provide status updates on projects.
• Transform requirements into solutions leveraging the Cisco portfolio.
• Utilize demonstrations to help customers envision the outcomes of solutions.
• Assess the competitive landscape to effectively position Cisco’s value and secure business.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Lead educational initiatives regarding Cisco solutions and their value.
• Recognize changes and adjust priorities in a dynamic sales environment.
• Bachelor’s degree along with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with no prior experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco’s product portfolio.
• Specialized expertise or architectural insight in one or more areas.
• Capability to translate the business needs of customers and partners into technical requirements.
• Proven technical sales expertise.
• Skills to design and present solutions based on both technical and business needs.
• Proficiency in analyzing customer environments, market conditions, competitors, and competitive strategies.
• Ability to formulate strategic customer plans and guide solution design.
• Experience using demonstrations to illustrate the real-world benefits of Cisco solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills with account teams, sales teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
