Senior Solutions Consultant, Supply Chain Optimization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Facilitate discovery sessions for business requirements related to advanced and complex implementations, multi-phase workstreams, and extensive projects.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design processes and establish technical direction for intricate configurations.

• Implement advanced product configurations tailored to customer requirements and the approved architectural solutions.

• Serve as the primary escalation point, managing troubleshooting and resolution for complex configuration challenges.

• Utilize mathematical models, optimization methods, and artificial intelligence algorithms to address complex supply chain planning scenarios.

• Validate and test solutions, gather user feedback, and formulate recommendations for escalations, obstacles, and documentation.

• Lead intricate deployment workshops, providing training and guidance to clients on the configured solutions and their value realization.

• Offer technical guidance and recommendations to Associate, Entry, and Intermediate Solution Consultants.

• Mentor and guide junior consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of extensive experience in software implementation or deployment within supply chain planning or execution, or relevant business experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or manufacturing.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a functional leadership role focusing on system configuration or deployments.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in business process design for supply chain software implementations.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

• Proven leadership qualities within a team and a successful track record with customers and executive sponsors.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment with various team members.

• Capacity to articulate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Advanced knowledge and practical application of supply chain best practices, including forecasting, MRP, Constraint Management, and Production Scheduling.

• Proficient in conducting complex business requirements gathering sessions with customers and system end users.

• Experience with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such as Maestro, SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder.

• Proficiency in SQL, R, and/or JavaScript.

• Willingness to travel an average of 50% and occasionally up to 75%, and effectively work remotely from client sites.
