Senior Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted consultant to prospects, clients, and partners throughout Asia regarding GitLab’s AI-driven DevSecOps platform.

• Lead the technical discovery process, demonstrations, and validations throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

• Manage technical assessments, including solution architecture, proofs of concept or value, workshops, proposals, audits, and value stream evaluations.

• Collaborate with Account Executives and market teams on strategies for customer acquisition and growth.

• Establish connections with technical professionals and business leaders to facilitate digital transformation.

• Provide guidance to clients on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud methodologies.

• Relay customer insights, use cases, and competitive analysis to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

• Develop reusable technical examples, best-practice recommendations, and resources for clients and partners.

• Engage in continuous learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to enhance team effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing positions.

• Expertise in the software development lifecycle, contemporary DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Generative and Agentic AI in software delivery.

• Practical experience with GitLab or similar source control, CI/CD, and collaboration tools.

• Solid understanding of cloud technology, deployment, security, and operational systems.

• Capability to lead proofs of concept or value, proposals, audits, workshops, and value stream assessments.

• Proficient in technical communication and presentation, tailored for both technical and business decision-makers.

• Fluent in Mandarin; ability to engage with stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to end-user purchasers.

• Skill in fostering trusted relationships, practicing empathetic listening, and advocating for customer interests internally.
