This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Take charge of solution engineering for enterprise opportunities within the designated industry, guiding the process from in-depth platform analysis through the prospective client's decision-making.
• Convert challenges related to supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and track-and-trace into a defined solution scope.
• Create and present vertical-specific osapiens HUB demonstrations utilizing realistic industry scenarios, terminology, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with Solution-Suite SEs for specialized assistance.
• Manage end-to-end proof of concept initiatives driven by industry value factors.
• Navigate customer integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Handle functional RFPs, RFIs, and IT-integration matters.
• Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and curate industry references.
• Represent osapiens at industry events, customer advisory boards, and analyst briefings.
• Work alongside Account Executives on deal strategy, multi-threading, stakeholder mapping, and technical/value-proposition guidance.
• Provide structured industry insights to the Product team to influence roadmap priorities.
• Mentor junior SEs and contribute to enablement content, battle cards, and the scaling of the SE function.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in solution engineering, presales, tech-centric consulting, or sales engineering for B2B enterprise SaaS, with a proven presence in the target industry.
• A solid understanding of the value chain, operating model, regulatory pressures, and the digital landscape within the industry.
• Proven track record of managing complex enterprise deals from start to finish, including proofs of concept and security evaluations.
• Comfortable handling enterprise deal sizes exceeding €250K.
• Technical proficiency in REST APIs, SAP, identity management (SSO), cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and basic data modeling.
• Business insight to correlate regulatory or operational challenges with ROI, TCO, and deployment roadmaps using industry KPIs.
• Regular use of AI for research, demo preparation, and RFP tasks, with a perspective on AI-driven role evolution.
• Proactive, organized, and composed under pressure; comfortable engaging with boards and conducting Postman sessions.
• Native or near-native proficiency in German is required.
• Fluent in English is essential.
• Located in the DACH region or elsewhere in Europe, with a strong willingness to travel approximately 25–35% to regional clients.
