This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Take charge of solution engineering for enterprise opportunities within the designated industry, from in-depth platform analysis to the prospect's decision-making process.
• Convert challenges related to supply chain resilience, reporting, carbon management, product compliance, asset operations, and track-and-trace into a well-defined solution scope.
• Create and present industry-specific osapiens HUB demonstrations that utilize realistic scenarios, terminology, and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Solution-Suite SEs for specialized support.
• Manage comprehensive proofs of concept rooted in industry value drivers.
• Oversee customer integrations with both SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Handle functional RFPs, RFIs, and IT integration matters.
• Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and compile industry references to bolster deals.
• Represent osapiens at industry conferences, customer advisory boards, and analyst briefings.
• Work alongside Account Executives on deal strategy, multi-threading, stakeholder mapping, and technical/value-proposition coaching.
• Provide structured industry insights to the Product team to inform the product roadmap.
• Mentor junior SEs and contribute to enablement materials, battle cards, and the scaling of the SE function.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in solution engineering, presales, tech-focused consulting, or sales engineering for B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Proven experience in the target industry.
• Strong understanding of the industry value chain, operating models, regulatory pressures, and the digital landscape.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex enterprise deals from start to finish, including proofs of concept and security assessments.
• Comfortable handling deal sizes exceeding €250K.
• Technical proficiency in REST APIs, SAP, identity management/SSO, cloud architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and basic data modeling.
• Business insight that connects regulatory or operational challenges to ROI, TCO, and deployment roadmaps.
• Regular application of AI for research, demo preparation, and RFP tasks, with a clear understanding of AI-driven role development.
• Proactive, organized, and composed under pressure.
• At ease with presenting to boards and working in Postman.
• Native or near-native proficiency in German is required.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Located in the DACH region or elsewhere in Europe with a strong willingness to travel approximately 25–35% to regional clients.
