Senior Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Sales Executives to gain insights into customers’ objectives and challenges.

• Facilitate product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and technical workshops for ANOW! Automate and ANOW! Observe.

• Evaluate business and technical requirements and convert them into customized solution concepts and implementation strategies.

• Create PoC use cases tailored to specific customer needs.

• Engage in customer meetings to pinpoint technical and business requirements at the outset.

• Assist in the sales process, particularly by crafting responses to RFIs and RFPs.

• Work collaboratively with Support, R&D, Product Management, and Sales to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Consistently relay customer feedback to the Sales and Product teams.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of DevOps, DataOps, SOAP, observability, cloud technologies, and AI.

• Observe market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience through relevant professional work.

• Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer, in technical presales, consulting, or technical sales of enterprise software.

• Proficiency with APIs, REST integrations, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell.

• Solid understanding of modern IT architectures.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of container technologies including Docker or Kubernetes.

• Understanding of operating systems and IT security.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Automic, Control-M, or Airflow is advantageous.

• Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Dynatrace, or Datadog is a plus.

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English.

• Capability to present intricate technical information in a manner suitable for the target audience.

• Strong analytical, structured, and solution-focused approach to work.

• Team-oriented individual with robust interpersonal skills.
