Senior Solution Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales assistance in the creation and demonstration of Workiva’s platform for both prospective clients and existing customers.

• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process by linking customer outcomes to platform functionalities.

• Engage with customers, prospects, and partners through both virtual and in-person meetings.

• Lead discovery sessions and conduct product demonstrations.

• Identify how Workiva solutions meet the needs of customers and prospects.

• Exhibit proficiency in Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability Reporting areas.

• Assist the Sales team in crafting account plans that align with Workiva's strategies and goals.

• Perform assessments of customer processes.

• Create proofs of concept to confirm requirements.

• Develop and present business cases tailored to partners.

• Facilitate seamless onboarding and ensure long-term customer success alongside implementation partners and Client Services.

• Create new use cases or adapt existing templates to showcase solution impact and value.

• Potentially provide cross-domain coaching, training, or mentorship.

• Collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing, Client Services, Scoping, and Customer Success teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

• An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of knowledge and related professional experience.

• Familiarity with Financial Reporting, GRC, or Sustainability Reporting, or a strong willingness to develop deep domain expertise.

• Proven experience in engaging with and presenting to business or IT managers and executives.

• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Self-driven with a strong inclination for action, results, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in building processes from the ground up, including design, proposal, and cross-functional coordination.

• Proactive collaboration and feedback to product management teams to capture new customer needs and enhancements.

• Ability to address problems and articulate solutions to business challenges with strong communication and presentation abilities.

• Preferred hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies, and architectures.

• Familiarity with high-level technical aspects of connectivity and integration (API).

• Capability to gather business requirements and deliver a compelling, value-based software demonstration is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

• Reliable internet access is required when working remotely.
