Senior Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical representative throughout the sales process

• Lead the technical discovery phase and design solutions

• Create customized network and cloud solutions for client interactions

• Propose alternative solutions during client meetings

• Provide education to internal teams, partners, and clients regarding products, services, and industry developments

• Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques and technological topics

• Produce visualizations, diagrams, presentations, proposals, and quarterly deal presentations

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of proposals with precise pricing

• Facilitate the smooth transition of closed deals to implementation with thorough technical documentation

• Independently finalize deals or support Account Executives as necessary

• Guide customer and partner tours of data centers

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and pinpoint opportunities for business expansion

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Illinois

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years of professional experience

• Have a minimum of 6 years in a similar Senior Solution Architect position

• Demonstrate expertise in network and cloud technologies

• Proven track record of leading an organizational transition to a cloud-based infrastructure

• Preferred experience in a data center and cloud services provider setting

• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and contemporary architectures (converged/hyper-converged)

• Familiarity with Apache CloudStack, KVM hypervisor, and Nutanix HCI

• Strong comprehension of routing protocols (BGP), SD-WAN, SASE solutions, and network security fundamentals

• Experience with Cisco/Meraki networking, Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls, and Cato SASE

• In-depth understanding of data center operations, storage architectures, and best practices in data protection technologies

• Ability to travel as required

• Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage

• Advanced vendor certification in a current technology offering within the product portfolio
