Senior Solution Architect – Application

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the architecture for Java/Spring Boot applications encompassing frontend, backend, integrations, and deployment.

• Create secure on-premises applications and their corresponding deployments.

• Mentor developers throughout the implementation process.

• Evaluate delivered applications to ensure compliance with architectural design.

• Maintain up-to-date architecture documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Java/Spring Boot development, with personal accountability for production application architecture, including APIs and frontend integration.

• Proven track record in designing secure on-premises deployments, focusing on access controls, service scaling, and recovery strategies.

• Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience in mentoring developers during the implementation phase.

• Background in assessing whether delivered applications adhered to the design specifications.

• Experience in maintaining comprehensive architecture documentation.

• At least 7 years of relevant experience.

• Key competencies: Java, Spring Boot, frontend/backend architecture, microservices, APIs, application security, Docker, Kubernetes.

• Preferred: experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises integrations.

• Preferred: experience in data-platform or AI application architecture.
