This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and sustain scalable automated testing frameworks for intricate, high-value workflows.
• Spearhead automation strategy, test planning, and coverage for sophisticated features.
• Enhance testing infrastructure, test data management, reporting, CI/CD pipelines, and test stability.
• Create automation tools and internal services to boost QA and developer efficiency.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to optimize QA processes, diminish repetitive tasks, and enhance test analysis, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams early on to improve testability, risk coverage, and release confidence.
• Detect edge cases, security vulnerabilities, performance risks, and potential failure modes.
• Manage complex projects from the planning phase to delivery while acting as a subject matter expert for core testing platforms.
• Perform code reviews, contribute to technical decision-making, and maintain automation and coding standards.
• Guide engineers to elevate team skills, enhance capabilities, and encourage knowledge sharing.
• Utilize strong sprint-process knowledge to support both immediate priorities and long-term team objectives.
• Over 7 years of experience in software development and creating automated tests.
• Advanced software development expertise in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, with the capability to write clean, efficient, modular code and perform code reviews.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress, with direct experience in constructing and maintaining large-scale automation suites.
• Comprehensive understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines, along with the integration of test automation within these frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of test design, development, and execution, including the implementation of best practices in test automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, capable of debugging complex issues in both production and test environments.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for test environments.
• Experience working within agile environments, closely collaborating with stakeholders to ensure stable releases.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring team members and enhancing engineer skills.
