Senior Software Engineer, Platform Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance the AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure scalability, simplicity, and increased developer efficiency.

• Create Terraform modules, Helm charts, and GitHub Actions workflows to manage the software platform effectively.

• Improve platform functionalities with applications developed in Go or Python.

• Establish actionable monitoring systems and runbooks to maintain a smooth and stable operational environment.

• Build agent capabilities and enhance daily operations using generative AI technologies.

• Refactor internal code into reusable, version-controlled packages.

• Design and execute strategies for client-data segregation while minimizing complexity.

• Collaborate with security and product engineering teams on a CI/CD pipeline that safeguards the software supply chain.

• Provide runtimes, build pipelines, and deployment strategies for Node.js, React, and Next.js applications.

• Keep abreast of industry tools and practices to continually enhance the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience in full-lifecycle development and debugging within Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.

• Demonstrated expertise in web-based software development.

• Proven capacity to drive change by refining processes and streamlining deployments.

• Understanding of platforms, data movement, API design standards, development methodologies, and operational best practices.

• Familiarity with organizing AWS applications in single-tenant configurations is a plus.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.

• Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), DataDog, Postgres, DynamoDB, Python data-science libraries, ElasticSearch, Docker, and Snowflake is preferred.
