Senior Software Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and improve a cutting-edge cross-platform React Native application focused on food ordering, loyalty rewards, and locating nearby restaurants.

• Create and sustain full-stack mobile application functionalities.

• Produce clean, well-tested TypeScript code in accordance with established coding standards.

• Connect the application with backend services, APIs, and third-party tools.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement new features.

• Engage in code reviews, apply feedback, and adhere to the team's pull request procedures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across both iOS and Android applications.

• Write and maintain unit, component, performance, and end-to-end tests.

• Support mobile build and release processes, including automated builds, beta testing, and App Store/Google Play releases.

• Document code, technical choices, and project progress.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration efforts.

• Keep up-to-date with the React Native ecosystem and contribute to platform enhancements.

• Actively participate in the migration to the React Native New Architecture.

• Deliver high-quality mobile features for millions of users.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in software engineering.

• Extensive experience in developing cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of React Native architecture, including state management, navigation, performance optimization, and local storage.

• Experience with integrating REST APIs and utilizing token-based authentication.

• Familiarity with native development in React Native, including iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin, and native modules.

• Practical experience with unit, component, and end-to-end mobile testing.

• Proven experience in releasing apps to the App Store and/or Google Play.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Desirable: experience with payment integrations such as Adyen, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

• Desirable: experience with feature flag platforms like LaunchDarkly.

• Desirable: background in mobile analytics or error tracking tools such as Sentry and Adobe Experience Platform.

• Desirable: experience with CI/CD processes for mobile applications, including GitHub Actions, Expo EAS, and Fastlane.

• Desirable: knowledge of internationalization and multilingual app support.

• Desirable: familiarity with privacy and consent frameworks such as OneTrust.

• Desirable: understanding of SSL/certificate pinning for mobile API security.
