Senior Software Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and execute both automated and manual testing procedures to guarantee the quality of software products.

• Collaborate with software developers and stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing initiatives.

• Create clear and concise test plans alongside detailed test cases.

• Perform automated and manual testing and document the results of these tests.

• Replicate and report software defects, collaborating with software engineers to rectify issues.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in testing technologies and methodologies.

• Engage in code reviews and offer insights regarding testability and overall quality.

• Ensure that software products fulfill customer requirements and are delivered punctually.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior test engineers on best practices.

• Maintain adherence to departmental knowledge standards.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance development processes, including code generation, testing, and documentation.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 6+ years of experience in a similar role.

• Expert-level knowledge of AI-driven development tools, including Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or C#.

• Advanced understanding of software testing methodologies and strategies.

• Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

• Advanced ability to draft clear and concise test plans and test cases.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High integrity and reliability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and focus on results.
