Senior Software Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and execute both automated and manual test cases to guarantee software quality.

• Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to establish and prioritize testing initiatives.

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Carry out automated and manual testing and document the results.

• Identify and document software defects, working alongside software engineers to address them.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies.

• Engage in code reviews and offer insights on testability and quality.

• Ensure software products align with customer requirements and are delivered punctually.

• Mentor and support junior test engineers in industry best practices.

• Adhere to departmental knowledge compliance standards.

• Utilize AI tools to expedite development processes, including code generation, testing, and documentation.

• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

• At least 4+ years of experience in a similar role.

• Advanced knowledge of AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.

• In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.

• Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

• Advanced skills in writing clear and concise test plans and test cases.

• Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills.

• High integrity and reliability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset.

• Intermediate capability to work effectively within a team setting.
