Senior Software Engineer, Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement engineering strategies that facilitate rapid experimentation and data-informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with teams from Product, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to enhance growth metrics and contribute to essential product initiatives.

• Design and construct scalable systems that support onboarding processes, personalization engines, and viral loops.

• Execute A/B testing and data instrumentation to ensure precise tracking and measurement of experiments.

• Utilize automation and machine learning to enhance user engagement, minimize churn, and tailor user experiences.

• Write clean, well-structured, and documented code while executing pixel-perfect, cross-browser designs.

• Uphold code quality, organization, automation, and continuous delivery practices.

• Guarantee technical excellence in performance optimization, security, and scalability.

• Communicate development updates and obstacles to the product lead, engineering manager, and stakeholders.

• Collaborate effectively within a large global team and engage in stand-ups, team meetings, and manager one-on-ones.

• Provide and receive constructive feedback and recognition.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI tools to improve software development, including code generation, debugging, and productivity enhancement.

• Proficiency in integrating AI-driven solutions into the software development process and a commitment to staying updated with emerging AI technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 5 years of industry experience in frontend or full-stack development, focusing on large-scale applications.

• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6)/TypeScript, React, Redux, HTML, CSS, and at least one backend language (Ruby/RoR, Python, or Node.js).

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) and A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Segment).

• Understanding of growth frameworks (e.g., Pirate Metrics, viral loops).

• Strong UX and product sensibility, with the capability to define the right MVP.

• Excellent attention to detail and passion for creating user interfaces that prioritize performance, accessibility, and scalability.
