Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

• Create, develop, and provide high-quality software solutions.

• Design and roll out new features for two distinct products.

• Manage both frontend and backend development tasks.

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to establish technical requirements and deliverables.

• Perform code evaluations and reviews.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards, quality measures, and security protocols.

• Collaborate on architectural choices that align with long-term business objectives.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in a computer-related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in Software Development.

• More than 4 years of experience in Cloud Development, covering both frontend and backend.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.

• Strong skills in Node.js/JavaScript, with familiarity in both module systems.

• Experience with AWS serverless architecture: Lambda, SQS, S3, Secrets Manager, DynamoDB, API Gateway.

• Knowledge of Serverless Framework v4 and serverless-offline.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Knex, and Objection.js.

• Capability to write and revert database migrations.

• Understanding of React and Next.js 14 fundamentals.

• Experience in creating form-heavy and table-heavy CRUD user interfaces.

• Familiarity with internal design systems and debugging CSS specificity/source order.

• Knowledge of SOAP and XML processing.

• Experience in TIFF/PNG processing and PDF generation.

• Proficient in using Express in Lambda via serverless-express and on EC2.

• Experience with Jest for unit and integration testing.

• Experience with Cypress for UI testing.

• Background in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools.
