Senior Software Engineer, Dataplane

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a vital member of our high-achieving Data Plane Platform team, laying the groundwork for Alteryx’s next-generation cloud platform.

• Tackle challenges that are central to contemporary business operations.

• Develop scalable services, APIs, and distributed systems utilizing Go.

• Engage throughout the technology stack with React and TypeScript to enhance customer-facing platform management experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Extensive experience in creating backend services with Go, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

• Proven track record in developing and managing production cloud applications on AWS or GCP.

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React, or a comparable frontend framework.

• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native application design principles.

• Experience with testing, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and contemporary software development methodologies.

• Capability to diagnose issues across application code, cloud infrastructure, and production environments.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive ownership approach.
