Senior Software Engineer, C# / .Net

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Extensive experience in senior-level software engineering

• Proficiency in C# / .NET 8+

• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core

• Knowledge of async/await programming

• Experience with MediatR and CQRS methodologies

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, including consistency models, event-driven architectures, idempotency, and race conditions

• Skills in Redis caching

• Proficient in using Azure Blob Storage

• Insight into data-modelling trade-offs

• Expertise in API design, covering RESTful contracts, versioning, webhooks, and handling long-running operations (202 Accepted patterns)

• Familiarity with SignalR and WebSockets

• Experience working with SPA frameworks like Vue / Nuxt or similar

• Proficient in TypeScript

• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical decisions clearly and provide constructive feedback

• Ability to operate beyond strict role boundaries when necessary

• Dedication to correctness, maintainability, architectural clarity, strong design principles, thorough testing, and review practices
