This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Create, develop, and execute top-quality software solutions.
β’ Work alongside product owners, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and align with the product's vision and strategy.
β’ Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices.
β’ Engage in code reviews and offer constructive feedback.
β’ Provide and document technical solutions at the team or group level.
β’ Design and implement test plans, as well as automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
β’ Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate issues across various service and application contexts.
β’ Collaborate with support teams to prioritize and resolve production-related issues.
β’ Engage in product discovery sessions with customers and stakeholders.
β’ Set KPIs and metrics to identify challenges and promote continuous improvement.
β’ Mentor and guide fellow engineers both technically and culturally.
β’ Convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Develop a Business Intelligence platform that extracts data from internal Workiva products.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience along with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
β’ Preferred 4+ years of professional software development experience.
β’ Strong grounding in computer science, including proficiency in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented software design, and cloud-based distributed systems.
β’ Proven expertise in modern programming languages such as Dart, React, TypeScript, Go, Java, and/or Kotlin.
β’ Proficiency in debugging complex systems or applications.
β’ Experience as a technical mentor is preferred, with the ability to coach and guide junior engineers.
β’ Preferred experience working in an agile development setting.
β’ Experience with service-oriented architecture is a plus.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and adaptability.
β’ Familiarity with semantic-layer or OLAP tools (Cube.dev, dbt, Looker/LookML) or columnar warehouses such as Snowflake.
β’ Experience utilizing charting libraries like Highcharts, D3, Chart.js, or other dashboarding frameworks is advantageous.
β’ Reliable internet access.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 15%.
