This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical execution of the Cogito data model migration from an on-premise setup to a cloud-hosted platform, including Caboodle and Clarity data structures.

• Ensure data integrity, report consistency, and performance benchmarks between legacy and cloud environments.

• Implement and enhance EMR workflows and data collection within the Cogito data model.

• Design, construct, and troubleshoot reports and dashboards utilizing Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and RW SQL.

• Enhance SQL development and reporting workflows for improved cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Provide mentoring to customers on Cogito reporting tools and the new cloud environment.

• Convert operational and business requirements into system configurations and cloud data architecture decisions.

• Develop build documentation, data flow diagrams, and migration runbooks.

• Monitor and address project risks and issues, including potential data loss, downtime, and report cutover risks.

• Facilitate meetings and coordinate deliverables across BI, infrastructure, and customer teams.

• Communicate project status, migration milestones, and deliverables effectively.

• Create knowledge-transfer documentation for customer handoff.

• Undertake additional responsibilities necessary to ensure the successful delivery of the migration project.

• Engage in corporate functions, events, and meetings as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Active Certifications: Cogito Data Model, Cogito Tools.

• Practical experience with Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and RW SQL.

• Background in migrating Epic Cogito/Caboodle/Clarity environments to a cloud platform; Azure experience preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience as a BI developer.

• Proficient SQL development skills, including performance tuning in cloud data warehouse settings.

• Experience in Epic implementation and optimization.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts, including cost management, security/compliance for PHI in the cloud, and environment provisioning is a plus.

• Proven ability to successfully deliver projects remotely.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
