This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Evaluate functional and technical designs created by the project team.
• Suggest data storytelling and UX design techniques with cohesive visuals to enhance user experience.
• Assess current reports and recommend and execute improvements.
• Develop mockups and/or prototypes for dashboards and reports.
• Showcase mockups and prototypes to business stakeholders and end-users to collect feedback.
• Structure dashboards and reports based on the at-a-glance principle, emphasizing KPIs and user-friendly navigation.
• Create a SharePoint site to centralize the dataset catalogue, dashboards, reports, and other DWH resources.
• Assist in automation projects utilizing DWH datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with and support DTS personnel and consultants utilizing Power Platform, Azure, and SharePoint.
• Aid in the integration of DWH Power BI reports with other solutions.
• Function as a member of the Development team, closely cooperating with a major client’s on-site IT team.
• Relevant University degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, etc., with significant coursework in Graphic Design, Communication, or Marketing Analytics.
• At least five years of experience in UI/UX design and the development of high-quality dashboards.
• Capability to convert complex data into a clear narrative through data storytelling and UX design.
• Proficiency in organizing dashboards so that the most critical KPIs are readily apparent.
• Advanced DAX skills for calculated measures, including year-over-year growth, moving averages, and conditional formatting logic.
• Ability to apply Power BI visual best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of the Power BI Format pane, themes, accessible color palettes, and interaction settings including drill-throughs, bookmarks, and slicer synchronization.
• Experience in creating intuitive dashboard navigation using buttons, navigation bars, and landing pages.
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification (PL-300) or equivalent is required.
• Additional professional certifications in design/data storytelling, UI/UX design, HCI, Power BI, or Azure SQL are advantageous.
• Excellent command of the English language.
