Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and create intricate software components for a distributed content management and collaboration platform.

• Develop and implement web applications for a scalable cloud service.

• Collaborate with design, architecture, and development teams.

• Participate in a cross-functional Scrum team from requirements and design to production code.

• Work alongside software architects to enhance technical designs.

• Evaluate iterative outcomes and suggest improvements to techniques, tools, and processes.

• Co-manage the Definition of Done and uphold measurable code quality.

• Mentor junior developers.

• Identify customer pain points and address customer challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable, high-performance enterprise-grade applications.

• Practical experience with NoSQL databases and caching layers, including MongoDB, Redis, and Cassandra.

• Proficient in integrating RESTful APIs using JSON and XML payloads.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, Backbone, and Ember.

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Ajax, web standards, and user experience principles.

• Experience in developing and resolving cross-platform and cross-browser issues.

• Knowledge of JMS frameworks, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ.

• Ability to design data models for both SQL and NoSQL systems.

• Experience with Azure, AWS, and various SaaS cloud-based platforms.

• Proven ability to provide soft leadership to technical teams.

• Capability to offer technical mentoring to junior developers.

• DevOps experience with CI/CD, automated configuration management, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is preferred.

• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Groovy is preferred.
