Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Be a part of the OneStream MarketPlace development team.

• Create and design interactive, web-based, inter-process, and embedded solutions.

• Develop and maintain MarketPlace solutions by leveraging and enhancing the OneStream platform.

• Document source code while defining and improving standards, APIs, and flow diagrams.

• Review code submissions and the unit tests of fellow team members.

• Build and deliver solutions that meet or surpass customer and stakeholder expectations.

• Propose solution alternatives that enhance usability and customer experience.

• Facilitate discussions about requirements based on customer value.

• Lead design discussions and planning sessions.

• Provide complex design specifications for major features and new solutions.

• Mentor engineering team members on best practices and coding standards.

• Assist with software design and offer training support.

• Aid in onboarding and training of new employees.

• Approve pull requests and manage release branches.

• Conduct and lead formal code review meetings.

• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation processes.

• Execute other ad hoc responsibilities assigned by leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Software Development, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent technical experience.

• Over 8 years of development and industry experience.

• Detail-oriented approach to software design.

• Strong understanding of design patterns and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in memory and performance tuning of managed code.

• Proficient in SQL query optimization and analysis.

• Knowledge of RESTful API design.

• Experience in building and assembling installation automation for deployment.

• Ability to review unit tests crafted by other team members.

• Experience in deploying software solutions to cloud-hosted infrastructure.

• Skills in creating deployment automation using Git Actions or DevOps pipelines.

• Familiarity with SSO configuration, website file management, access, session data, web application development, and debugging.

• Experience with relational dependencies, indexing for queries, partitioning, and stored procedures.

• Familiarity with React, Angular, and JavaScript frameworks.

• Proven best practices in AI-assisted coding.

• Solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, preferably Azure.

• Proficient in C#, VB.NET, and .NET technologies.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-based deployments.

• Understanding of secure coding practices and data protection principles.

• Expertise in Domain and Financial Systems is preferred.

• At least 3 Azure Certifications are preferred.

• Strong communication, analytical, debugging, cross-functional, mentoring, and technical decision-making skills.
