Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance internal systems, tools, and frameworks to ensure they remain reliable, well-documented, and easily transferable.

• Foster continuity across Intercept's internal platforms and product systems.

• Engage in daily engineering tasks within the Azure cloud stack.

• Design, integrate, and reinforce AI-driven tools and workflows for internal platforms.

• Coordinate frontier models and AI inference capacity to support consistent AI workloads.

• Utilize cutting-edge AI agentic tools and establish practical AI engineering methodologies, complete with documentation and operational readiness.

• Collaborate with Technology leadership and cross-functional colleagues on shared priorities.

• Implement engineering and security best practices in system design, development, and operations.

• Enhance documentation, collaboration, and operational readiness.

• Ensure clear ownership, handoff paths, and maintainability of internal platforms as the company expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with responsibility for production or internal systems.

• Proficiency in the Azure cloud stack.

• Practical experience in developing or managing AI-enabled software, including APIs, tools, workflows, agents, or internal products utilizing frontier models.

• Experience in orchestrating frontier models and/or AI inference capacity, including executing, routing, or managing model workloads in production or internal platforms.

• Comfortable with advanced AI agentic tools and capable of working autonomously.

• Adaptable to evolving internal platforms, tools, and frameworks while enhancing operational efficiency and documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Solid foundation in engineering and security best practices, including testing, operational readiness, least privilege, and secure system handling.

• Proven track record of professional and personal projects using AI or agentic coding workflows, with completed work to showcase.

• Ability to navigate smoothly within a digital, cross-functional Technology environment.
