Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Oversee the entire development lifecycle of AI-driven financial products, integrating AI into both daily operations and product features.

• Address genuine business challenges with a focus on high performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Spearhead the execution of initiatives for the Working Capital team.

• Ensure operational excellence and product development that aligns with business goals.

• Elevate the standards for execution and technical quality across the Engineering team.

• Actively promote initiatives in collaboration with the business team.

• Establish clear technical scopes and manage trade-offs effectively.

• Create distributed, resilient architectures, robust APIs, and scalable relational data models.

• Utilize AI to tackle real-world problems with sound judgment and technical depth.

• Validate business use cases through automated testing.

• Manage aspects such as latency, fallbacks, costs, and observability.

• Comprehend, articulate, and enhance the solutions that are developed and implemented.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced as a Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or Senior Full-Stack/Backend Engineer with over 5 years in building and maintaining transactional systems at scale within digital product settings (SaaS, fintech, or startups).

• Demonstrated autonomy and ability to execute end-to-end with sound business acumen.

• Proficient in defining clear technical scopes, balancing trade-offs, and effective communication.

• Strong background in designing distributed and resilient architectures.

• Experience with robust APIs and scalable relational data models.

• Awareness of the systemic impact that changes can have on data consistency, user experience, and performance.

• Strategic application of AI, including automated testing, latency management, fallbacks, cost control, and observability.

• End-to-end ownership mentality and a commitment to quality culture.

• Experience in fintech, credit, or lending sectors is a plus.

• Experience in fast-growing startups is advantageous.

• Prior experience working with distributed teams across Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and the United States is beneficial.

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and deployment on AWS/GCP is a plus.

• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js or Vite, Python, monorepos, and modular architectures.

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, event sourcing, KurrentDB/EventStore, Apache Pulsar, and Temporal or similar technologies.

• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Dapr, KrakenD, Istio, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, SigNoz, Grafana, and Sentry or similar utilities.

• Exposure to LiteLLM, OpenAI/Gemini models, and data extraction or similar technologies.
