Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable full-stack applications utilizing Angular and .NET.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to grasp existing processes and dependencies.

• Convert mainframe-era workflows into well-documented APIs and services.

• Construct and uphold RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Develop Angular-based single-page applications with a focus on usability and performance.

• Contribute to event-driven and workflow-oriented solutions, including asynchronous processing, reconciliation, and backfill scenarios.

• Produce clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Take ownership of engineering solutions from start to finish, enhancing reliability, observability, and scalability.

• Ensure applications satisfy security, performance, and compliance standards.

• Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Modernize legacy IBM i / DB2 green-screen applications into dependable cloud-hosted systems.

• Redesign accounting, cashiering, and operational workflows using full-stack, event-driven architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of full-stack development experience with C# and .NET.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Practical experience in building scalable, distributed systems.

• Extensive experience in developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Strong proficiency in Angular.

• Familiarity with designing and working with event-driven architectures.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL Server, including complex queries and stored procedures.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Experience in writing unit tests and supporting high-quality, maintainable codebases.

• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services, such as App Services, Functions, and Azure SQL.

• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
