Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and enhancement of high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product suite.

• Investigate and resolve software-related issues raised by internal or external clients.

• Create documentation for application specifications, design, features, and operations prior to production deployment.

• Implement solution improvements to enhance performance and availability.

• Effectively communicate technical and operational challenges to engineering and business leadership in a timely manner.

• Ensure adherence to technology standards during system development.

• Seek out new ideas and contribute innovatively to enhance processes or systems.

• Continuously expand knowledge of the technologies selected and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite.

• Carry out all relevant aspects of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle.

• Collaborate with senior developers, offshore development team members, business owners, project managers, and internal stakeholders.

• Provide mentorship to fellow developers.

• Fulfill assigned performance-plan duties, special projects, and additional responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• 4-5 years of experience in the industry.

• Over 2 years of experience with healthcare data.

• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET, with experience in Blazor or similar component-based .NET web frameworks.

• Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS services: App Service/Web Apps, API Management, Logic Apps or equivalent workflow/integration orchestration, Key Vault, and Azure-managed relational databases (Postgres or SQL).

• Familiarity with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, or similar, particularly in SSO, MFA, and SCIM-based provisioning.

• Experience with integrating third-party SaaS systems via REST APIs and webhooks, including bidirectional synchronization patterns.

• Proficient in handling large datasets.

• 4-5 years of experience with relational databases.

• 4-5 years of experience with ETL processes.

• Skilled in optimizing and tuning SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

• Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.

• 4-5 years of experience with Java frameworks or .NET Framework.

• Knowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have access to high-speed internet and maintain an office setup.

• Ability to provide a dedicated and secure workspace.

• Must be capable of performing duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
