Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in enhancing and supporting high-quality software modules for the Cotiviti product lineup.

• Evaluate and resolve software-related concerns arising from both internal and external clients.

• Document application specifications, designs, features, and operations prior to production deployment.

• Implement solution enhancements aimed at improving performance and availability.

• Convey technical and operational challenges to engineering and business leadership promptly.

• Ensure compliance with technology standards while developing systems.

• Investigate new concepts and contribute innovative ideas to processes or systems that enhance efficiency and outcomes.

• Continuously expand knowledge of the technologies chosen and integrated into the Cotiviti product suite.

• Execute all relevant aspects of the Cotiviti Software Development Lifecycle.

• Collaborate with senior developers, offshore development teams, business owners, project management, and internal stakeholders.

• Provide mentorship to fellow developers.

• Fulfill annual Performance Plan obligations and complete assigned special projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in retail application support or direct retail experience is preferred.

• Over 5 years of experience in the IT industry.

• More than 5 years of experience with relational databases.

• At least 5 years of experience with MVC design methodologies.

• Over 5 years of experience with both .NET 4.x and Core Frameworks.

• More than 5 years of experience in ASP and C#.

• At least 4 years of experience developing solutions using frameworks/platforms including Angular, React, MVC, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• More than 3 years of experience administering Microsoft Azure containers, gateways, and firewall configurations.

• Strong expertise in designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures utilizing App Services, Functions, Storage, and AKS scaling strategies.

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience with LLM systems, including Agent and Prompt Flow Development, Embedding Strategies, and Index Design.

• Proficient in creating and supporting Microsoft web services (REST API and SOAP).

• Expert in CI/CD best practices using code management platforms and deployment tools such as Bitbucket, Atlassian Bamboo, and Octopus Deploy.

• Extensive experience developing interfaces that reference/parse XML, JSON, and XSLT datasets.

• Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.

• Advanced experience in optimizing and tuning Microsoft SQL, Snowflake, and Postgres queries, stored procedures, and triggers.

• Familiarity with basic commands/configurations in the Debian/Linux OS platform.

• Basic knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices is preferred.

• Experience in .NET WinForms development is preferred.

• Proficient in working with large datasets.
