Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess business and technical requirements to design and propose effective software solutions.

• Create new features and improve existing applications securely, at scale, with comprehensive testing and optimal performance.

• Examine complex data and software to generate actionable insights.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders within a dynamic agile environment.

• Provide engineering estimations.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in new areas and services.

• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.

• Promptly address software defects and production-related issues.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for high-performance web applications.

• Engage in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

• Ensure applications comply with security, performance, and scalability standards.

• Utilize Agile development tools to monitor and communicate project progress.

• Keep up-to-date with information technologies and emerging trends.

• Work non-standard hours to participate in meetings and provide support via text, phone, and email in a 24/7/365 setting.

• Engage in professional development and training opportunities.

• Represent ADTRAV and cultivate positive relationships with employees, clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

• Perform additional assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in developing high-quality production code.

• Profound knowledge of C#.

• Practical experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and/or Blazor.

• Experience in developing and debugging web applications.

• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or other cloud services.

• Experience in creating database objects, writing queries in T-SQL, and developing stored procedures.

• Knowledge of ORMs, preferably Entity Framework.

• Experience with Monitoring and Telemetry tools/data.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment Tools, preferably Azure DevOps.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git or TFS.

• Proficiency with issue tracking systems like Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, including strong business writing capabilities.

• Ability to estimate work and deliver projects on schedule.

• Capacity to quickly learn ADTRAV’s business and products and adapt to a dynamic development environment.

• Ability to work remotely while meeting company home office and productivity standards.

• Willingness to work outside regular business hours and provide 24/7/365 support.

• Capability to successfully pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check.

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended durations.
