Senior Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as an experienced individual contributor within a software engineering team.

• Assist in managing scope, schedule, and delivery requirements with minimal oversight from leadership.

• Contribute to the long-term objectives of the program and the implementation of the development strategy.

• Function as a discipline lead during interactions with stakeholders.

• Take ownership and responsibility for contributions to application code.

• Coordinate integrations with related technical systems.

• Identify and resolve issues within owned systems.

• Utilize incidents to highlight educational opportunities and drive system enhancements.

• Mentor and support junior engineers.

• Relay technical issues and developments to team members and clients.

• Engage in technical interviews.

• Suggest and assess technical and process solutions.

• Lead small, less critical, temporary teams and projects.

• Present design documents and system diagrams to clients, stakeholders, partners, and engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Over 7 years of engineering experience.

• Expert-level expertise in at least one technical domain, such as frontend, backend, or infrastructure engineering.

• Comprehensive understanding of related technical fields and ecosystems.

• Capability to diagnose and rectify system issues.

• Proficiency in communicating technical issues and developments to team members and clients.

• Ability to mentor junior engineers effectively.

• Strong influential skills to propose and assess various technical and process strategies.

• Experience in presenting design documents and system diagrams to clients, stakeholders, partners, and engineers.
