Senior Software and System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture for cloud-networking and security solutions

• Develop cutting-edge system architecture for DPU and NIC technologies

• Create comprehensive solutions that span from application to hardware levels

• Deliver rapid and innovative solutions to intricate challenges

• Compose clear, effective, and reliable architecture specifications

• Assess new technologies and create proof-of-concept prototypes for comprehensive products and solutions

• Collaborate with software and hardware architects, R&D teams, product teams, solution architects, application engineers, and field engineers across NVIDIA

• Engage with prominent customers on advanced technologies and solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• B.Sc/M.Sc/PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or Systems Architect

• Extensive background as a Software Developer

• Profound knowledge of and experience with C and Python

• Practical experience in Linux development

• Experience in cloud networking

• Broad understanding of networking protocols and common network topologies

• Strong skills in design, coding, analysis, debugging, and problem-solving

• Ability to collaborate simultaneously with multiple teams both locally and internationally

• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities

• Development experience with networking/security devices – NICs/DPUs/Switches/Routers/Firewalls

• Solid understanding of operating systems and drivers

• Familiarity with data center technologies, network topologies, and cloud

• Experience with DPDK, OVS, OVN

• Experience with Docker, Containers, Kubernetes components & subsystems
