Principal Forward Deployed Architect, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the target architecture for the GCP GenAI platform foundation, GEAP agent ecosystem, context-graph/data framework, and enterprise integration.

• Coordinate the delivery process across all four architectural layers.

• Establish reference models for agent development, runtime processes, isolation, and governance standards.

• Architect the context-graph foundation utilizing BigQuery, BigQuery graph (GQL), and/or Spanner Graph.

• Define the grounding/RAG strategy, which includes entity resolution, semantic modeling, and retrieval through Vertex AI Vector Search.

• Identify and address cross-layer architectural decisions prior to delivery commitments.

• Mediate trade-offs among Forward Deployed Engineers with documented reasoning.

• Evaluate agent designs and assessment outcomes; analyze trajectory and latency performance; participate in incident reviews; conduct selective hands-on tasks.

• Represent AuxoAI in client security, compliance, architecture, model governance, and data governance review boards.

• Provide counsel to client executives regarding trade-offs, sequencing, delivery risks, and cases that are unsafe to automate.

• Manage technical scope, estimates, and justification of proposals and statements of work.

• Communicate delivery risks, remediation strategies, and consumption-cost implications to Auxo AI leadership.

• Empower client platform, data, and security leaders to manage and enhance the agent landscape and context graph.

• Foster the development of Forward Deployed Engineers assigned to the account.

• Contribute to GEAP reference architectures, context-graph patterns, estimation models, and governance frameworks.

• Ensure long-term business results by maintaining the ecosystem's grounding, governance, evaluation, adoption, and effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 12 years of experience in engineering, architecture, or technical delivery leadership, including senior technical oversight of production systems.

• Expert knowledge in at least two of the following areas: the agent/GenAI platform layer, the context-graph and semantic modeling layer, the cloud data-platform layer, and the cloud runtime/governance layer, with proven competence across the others, demonstrated through an architectural walkthrough.

• Experience delivering at least one production GenAI or agent system on GCP (Vertex AI / Agent Platform) or a comparable cloud solution, including grounding on an enterprise data or knowledge foundation.

• Comprehensive ownership of technical design for at least two client projects or significant cross-team programs, from initial discovery to production.

• Served as the primary senior technical liaison to a client's executive team on a project of substantial size.

• Proficient in BigQuery and at least one graph or semantic database (Spanner Graph, BigQuery graph, Neo4j or similar).

• Experience delivering within a regulated environment, with the ability to articulate a design decision influenced by regulatory requirements.

• Proven record of managing the technical scope, estimates, and justification of a proposal or statement of work.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform specifically — ADK, Agent Garden, Model Garden, Agent Engine — or a swift, demonstrable pathway to it from similar agent frameworks.
