Senior Microsoft Identity Consultant, Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Provide expert advice and design intricate projects for enterprise clients.

• Assume responsibility for architecture, implementation, and result presentation, varying by experience level.

• Evaluate on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft Entra ID and AD DS environments.

• Create Zero Trust-compliant protection and detection strategies.

• Lead teams and conduct workshops effectively.

• Develop comprehensive concepts and decision-making documents.

• Deliver presentations to C-level executives.

• Design and implement solutions in AD DS and Microsoft Entra ID, incorporating Conditional Access, MFA, and hybrid synchronization.

• Create roadmaps leading to solution handover.

• Set security and governance standards, including monitoring, detection, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Identity platform, encompassing roles, delegation, authentication/authorization, MFA, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.

• Experience with pass-the-hash, Golden Ticket, Kerberoasting, and protocol attacks against OIDC/SAML, including detection and mitigation strategies.

• Hands-on experience with tiering/Enterprise Access Model (EAM) and privileged access strategies, such as PAW and JIT/JEA.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing AD DS, AD CS, Entra ID Connect, and Microsoft Entra ID.

• Capability to produce high-quality architecture and operational documentation.

• Competence in structuring workshops, facilitating clear decision-making, and establishing strong client relationships.

• Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and confidence in presenting complex topics.

• Analytical mindset.

• Openness to collaborate with clients as part of both small and large Avanade teams.

• Fluent in German and English, at least C1 level.

• Willingness to travel as agreed upon.
