Lead Pega System Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical guidance as a Pega Lead System Architect

• Ensure smooth integration with the current infrastructure

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather application requirements

• Develop IT strategies and oversee infrastructure to achieve organizational goals

• Lead teams in system architecture, deployment, and performance enhancement

• Guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and information security measures

• Offer insights on best practices, coding standards, and development frameworks

• Co-create Pega integrations with other technologies in partnership with integration architects and cross-technology teams

• Liaise with the Pega vendor regarding Service Requests and their resolutions

• Oversee Pega platform-level 508 defects and their remediation plans

• Conduct design and code reviews

• Ensure code quality, adherence to guardrails and best practices, as well as performance standards

• Mentor and support junior developers and system architects

• Perform additional tasks as assigned


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (CS) is preferred

• Over 8 years of experience in IT leadership or architecture, with a focus on Pega

• Certification as a Pega Lead System Architect is mandatory

• Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, and security standards

• Experience with Pega Infinity/Constellation UX Design System/Version 8.X

• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams

• Excellent interpersonal skills for dynamic, project-oriented roles

• Strong organizational abilities

• US Citizenship is required due to clearance requirements

• Capability to secure and maintain a Public Trust

• Preferred experience with Pega eForms and PDF content generation

• Active VA Public Trust

• Previous experience supporting federal agencies

• Proven success in a remote work environment
