Senior Shopify Developer – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and tailor Shopify-based ecommerce platforms in line with project specifications and branding requirements

• Create and implement custom themes, templates, and layouts

• Integrate third-party applications, plugins, and APIs into the ecommerce environment

• Convert design mockups and wireframes into operational Shopify websites

• Configure settings for shipping, payment gateways, taxes, and checkout processes

• Establish product catalogs, collections, variants, and inventory management systems

• Apply SEO best practices, including meta tags and structured data markup

• Create responsive HTML email templates and campaigns

• Ensure compatibility with email marketing platforms like Klaviyo

• Test and troubleshoot email rendering issues, spam filters, and overall deliverability

• Conduct audits on website performance and optimize loading speed, responsiveness, code, images, and scripts

• Monitor metrics such as page load times, bounce rates, and conversion rates

• Test website features, integrations, and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices

• Work collaboratively with QA testers and stakeholders to address issues and incorporate feedback

• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and team collaboration

• Ensure adherence to GDPR, CCPA, and PCI DSS regulations

• Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, identify and mitigate risks, collaborate across teams, communicate clearly, and maintain high-quality work
