This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee, guide, mentor, and assess shift managers
• Cultivate a positive and supportive atmosphere for team members and their teams
• Champion the needs of the overnight shift to ensure seamless operations
• Engage with hotline personnel and lead collaborative team meetings
• Evaluate skills and knowledge deficiencies and suggest development paths
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules and serve as emergency support on-site
• Assist with Recovery Support Fund calls, telephone hotline, and online hotline activities
• Ensure quality assurance and supervision for overnight shift services
• Conduct quality assurance assessments and align quality standards across shifts
• Monitor staff capacity and turnover, proposing solutions to fill operational gaps
• Take part in interviews and selection processes for overnight shift candidates
• Develop schedules, review shift payroll, and manage Federal Work Study student projects
• Aid in the selection and prioritization of performance-improvement projects
• Create and deliver quarterly foundational staff training and monthly in-service workshops
• Contribute to policy and protocol discussions ensuring consistent application
• Report workplace behavior and service quality issues to senior management
• Make independent, real-time decisions regarding staff and service utilizing critical thinking and RAINN policies
• Organize and lead NSAH management meetings
• Identify hotline requirements and collaboratively devise solutions
• Provide input on training subjects and modifications to enhance staff skills and morale
• Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of pertinent social services experience
• At least 3 years of experience in crisis intervention services, either through work or volunteering
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing paid and/or unpaid staff
• Proven experience in dealing with intricate employee relations, performance management, coaching, and remediation issues
• Preparedness and capability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
• Comfort in discussing topics related to sexual violence and supporting teams involved in trauma-related work
• Proficiency in utilizing technology and virtual workplace tools in a remote setting
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check conducted by RAINN
• Preferred experience in managing staff across multiple shifts or within a 24/7 service framework
• Preferred experience in providing trauma-informed supervision
• Proficient in Spanish is preferred
• Home office setup with a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Demonstrated technical skills in G Suite, including Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar
• Must obtain and maintain the National Advocate Credentialing Program (NACP) credential following hire
