This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead the administration of contracts before and after signing, which includes managing terms and conditions, claims, risk modeling, and contract estimation.
• Take ownership of the productivity strategy and execution for the In Service Support Contract related to LM2500 fleet sustainment.
• Provide technical guidance and governance for activities related to the sustainment of the LM2500 fleet.
• Supervise contract costs, forecasts, and planning processes.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Defense stakeholders.
• Oversee reporting on contract performance, including dashboards, risk visibility, and communication of mitigation strategies.
• Maintain awareness of the Defense budget and assist with long-range fleet coordination.
• Direct planning for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of LM2500 systems.
• Facilitate communication among depot management, Naval Defense contracting, the Royal Canadian Navy, GE Aerospace, and licensed MRO resources.
• Manage vendor contracts and the repair activities of subcontractor components.
• Lead efforts in engine life management, tracking, and sustainment analytics.
• Develop and oversee customer training programs.
• Guide the forecasting, control, procurement, and reporting of spares and materials.
• Conduct internal program updates and structured governance.
• Analyze trends in contracts and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure the integrity, controllership, compliance, and discipline in contract management.
• Must be a resident of Canada.
• Required to provide academic credentials, years of experience, and detailed descriptions of completed Defense projects, including references that demonstrate how requirements are met.
• Either five years of experience in the last ten years as a program manager for LM2500 Gas Turbine Assembly maintenance support totaling at least $5M CAD, with multiple contracts of at least $3M CAD each being acceptable, along with a current PMI PMP certification; or ten years of experience in the last fifteen years as a project/program manager for a defense contract in engineering or maintenance support at the gas turbine propulsion system level, also totaling at least $5M CAD, with different contracts of at least $3M CAD per year being acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong technical background in LM2500, specializing in marine propulsion or power generation field service, naval marine engineering services, or experience in the merchant navy.
• Possession of Canadian Defense Security Clearance (NV1), or the ability to obtain it.
• Capacity to gain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information if not a U.S. Person.
