This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research to discover and onboard new brands, products, and deals.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers and manufacturers.
• Manage the prospective merchant pipeline in Salesforce, from initial outreach to closure.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing, volume discounts, and advantageous terms.
• Establish and nurture merchant relationships, creating mutually beneficial business plans.
• Secure exclusive deals for Stack.
• Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, competitor actions, and emerging market opportunities.
• Achieve revenue, net profit, and sales activity key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Track and analyze sales, profit, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Develop action plans to tackle challenges and seize opportunities.
• Adjust product offerings based on performance data.
• Collaborate with Publisher Account Management, Merchandising, Production, Operations, and Content teams.
• Utilize Salesforce, Looker, Google Analytics, and Google Suite for sales activities and product launches and promotions.
• Must be based in the U.S.
• Over 7 years of experience in business-to-business inside sales or category management.
• Proven experience in canvassing and conducting cold outreach to new business prospects, including negotiations with director-level and above contacts.
• Familiarity with e-commerce buying, daily deals, and digital or refurbished electronic products.
• Proficient in Salesforce.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in business consulting and closing deals.
• Action-oriented and motivated, with a proven history of success.
• Capability to close six-figure daily deal promotions.
• Proven ability to close deals in a fast-paced environment.
