Senior ServiceNow Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold the ServiceNow platform.

• Maintain standards for the data model.

• Design, implement, and deploy both solutions and enhancements for existing and new components.

• Design, create, and execute complex ServiceNow solutions that align with business goals and adhere to best practices.

• Create custom applications, integrations, and workflows within the ServiceNow environment.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues associated with ServiceNow implementations.

• Stay updated on ServiceNow features and best practices while implementing relevant enhancements.

• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and other team members.

• Provide mentorship to junior developers.

• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and standards.

• Design and implement intricate ITSM workflows for incident, problem, change, and knowledge management.

• Automate ITSM processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual efforts.

• Integrate ITSM workflows with enterprise applications and systems.

• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce, ServiceNow, the Data Warehouse, and external applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 7+ years of practical experience in ServiceNow development.

• Proficient in ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript and GlideScript.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow workflows.

• Comprehensive understanding of ITSM, CSM, ITBM, ITOM, and ITIL processes.

• Experience in designing and implementing intricate ITSM workflows.

• Skilled in REST APIs, SOAP APIs, scheduled jobs, Integration Hub, event notifications, and outbound web services.

• Proven experience in creating custom applications, integrations, and workflows within ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes and standards.
